An announcement released by Trimble Navigation in April of this year gave public notice of their intent to acquire Ashtech S.A.S. – a well known manufacturer of precision GPS measuring products. Since that announcement the acquisition has been completed and many of Ashtech’s products have been intergrated into the Trimble owned Spectra Precision product line.
